Good things ask of us to find ways to perpetuate them.
The Ochre Sky Memoir Workshop moves us in ways that feel both real and intangible at the same time. We want to sustain the connections that heal us, that help us thrive and become light and joyous from within.
We also want to write. We know in our bones that the process of writing and being read is the yoga, meditation, zumba, gym of the soul. How do we make it real for ourselves?
Ochre Sky Writing Circles (OSC) is our answer to a need we all feel. An immersive 12 week writing program, OSC is open only to writers from the Ochre Sky Memoir writing workshop. We,
and , are ourselves in awe of the transformation we are all experiencing, not only as writers, but in every aspect of our being.

OSC is designed to be compatible with our lives.
We have a break during the Christmas/New-Year holidays.
It is okay to miss online sessions and prompts, when we need to.
There is plenty of time to catch up.
We practice encouragement and compassion, taking breaks whenever we need to. The circle welcomes us back when we are ready.
Writers continue to stay in their community and write together even after 12 weeks.

Writing and reading with this group of brilliant writers and stunning humans is beautifully intimate. Our Slack workspace is filled with first drafts, half drafts, and perfectly genuine, real pieces—written without the fear of feeling exposed, in fact, written with the desire to be seen, and that is new for many of us.
My god what a session. I feel like I’m on drugs. I had to go and hug the kids for the last ten minutes. Some weird magic has happened. -
